Locals rescue survivor from rubble after air strikes on Gaza

A survivor was filmed being pulled from the rubble in Khan-Younis, Gaza, after the latest air strikes in the region, which have reportedly killed dozens. Footage filmed on Saturday shows crowds of people frantically digging through huge piles of rubble, pulling out a lone survivor before continuing their search.

Israel had called on civilians to leave Khan Younis by dropping leaflets over the area ahead of the strikes, but many locations in the city still house refugees unable to leave. It’s thought several locations, including a school sheltering civilians, were targeted in the latest round of strikes
