Locals in Russia’s Primorsky Region help a shark back into the sea

You may expect to meet some fish when you go swimming. But there’s ‘some fish,’ and then there’s this. Locals in the Primorsky region in Russia's Far East found one Sharpnose sevengill shark on a beach. Obviously, their first thoughts were ‘Okay, the swimming season’s over’ but they quickly helped the poor creature get back into the waters and home. It’s not clear whether the shark was washed up on the shore or was intentionally carried onto the beach to release it from fishing nets.
