Re: mental illness, I agree with you. I've looked into the history of it, and it's a crock of shit. It all goes back to 1700s Austria, back when Germany had a soft empire. Something I've learned the hard way is that Germanic people don't like being morally judged or held accountable for their actions. A Jew named Freud decided to capitalize on this by making up a scam that would blame people's immoral actions on something other than them. And, just like that, the scam we now call psychiatry was born.

The truth is, there is no such thing as mental illness. There is intelligence, there is personality, there is past experience and trauma, and there is morality. Most mental disorders are some combination of these, but very many harmless things are wrongly pathologized. The only thing that should be pathologized is immorality, and that's the thing that psychiatry exists to make excuses for.
