LED lights are devastating. Devastating to our health. Those aren't my words. Those are the words of our next guest. Which I'll introduce here in a second. But think about how much our lives have changed over the last few decades. Think about now when you go to sleep at night, all of those little LED lights that are surrounding you while you sleep

So what would be the realistic alternative?
It depends on the wavelength of light the LED emits. I still use CFLs for the most part, with a few differently rated incandescent bulbs on hand for my dim bulb tester.....
When the first compact flourescent lights came on the market, I changed from 100W incandescent lights, to 12 - 20W CF lights and the power bills plummetted...
Brilliant.
I dunno... the LED lights... I like them.
But as an authority on the 500 - 505 nanometer light, which is moon light reflecting off green vegetation - THAT does go straight through your eye lids when your sleeping at night, even if it's only 2 x 20ma LED's in the next room.....
So while I will take their information at face value, but I have seen how totally insane turquoise LED's effects are.
