Lava from Iceland’s erupting volcano reaches houses near Grindavik

Lava rivers oozed down towards buildings and set some houses on fire on early morning Sunday after an eruption in southwestern Iceland. It came after a swarm of earthquakes near the town of Grindavik, according to the Icelandic Meteorological Office. The residents of the area were evacuated overnight.
