Killing of Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil may be a war crime — Rights groups

Three leading rights organisations say the killing of Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil in southern Lebanon should be investigated as a war crime.

Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and Legal Agenda say their investigations indicate that Amal was deliberately targeted while reporting near the village of al-Tiri. Her colleague Zeinab Faraj survived with serious injuries.
