Japan launches rocket with lunar lander, X-ray telescope onboard

A Japanese rocket with a lunar lander and X-ray telescope onboard has been launched from Tanegashima Space Center. The lunar lander will attempt a landing early next year, while the X-ray telescope is intended to measure the speed and makeup of objects between galaxies
