Follow your feelings, especially in potentially uncomfortable questions, and you always arrive at "it depends"
"It depends" means "I do not have a sound answer based on principles, and I do not want to admit I'm just going to follow my feeling of the moment". It is THE cop-out for all uncomfortable questions.
Also : men get to know another person by polling for their principles, women do this by getting to know the other ones' feelings.
