Iranian hub becomes key transit point in intl trade route from Russia to India

Russia remains India's top crude oil importer for a fifth straight month, with a record 1.6 million barrels per day recorded in February, as Indian refineries relish the discounted Russian oil.Moreover, Russia has started shipping exports, including energy resources, to India via the new International North-South Transport Corridor.

Iran has already turned into a vital hub along that route, as RT contributor Yusef Jalali explains.
