Iran urges SCO and BRICS to turn economic potential into concrete action

Iran is seeking deeper economic, financial and technological cooperation with regional partners and emerging powers, according to Dr. Mahdi Honardideh, a member of the Eurasian Media Forum executive board.

In an exclusive interview, Honardideh outlined Tehran’s priorities within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and BRICS, including expanded trade, greater use of national currencies, stronger banking ties, new transit corridors and joint projects in energy and technology.
