Indians celebrate Ugadi festival by participating in cow dung fight

Thousands of people have taken part in Ugadi celebrations in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Marking the beginning of a new year in the Hindu lunar calendar, locals engaged in a traditional cow dung fight (pidakala samaram).
