I forget who it was... I could look it up.... but anyway...
They mentioned this event, and I just found a really good video on it.
The people in this island and with the help of many others, cooled off a lava flow that was going to bury the town and close the harbour, so they flooded the lava with enormous amounts of sea water and brought in some extra giant pumps to help....
This is a good story about the whole event.
Why do I get the feeling if that to push their global warming, they thought [THOTs] it wiuld be as easy as a sauna... just put water on hot stones... it works in Iceland...Lol!
