Some of the larger trucking companies may train you to get your CDL, but you may have to commit a year or two working for them. If possible, you may want to consider moving near an area where that company will have a terminal. Also, though initially they don't pay as much, school bus companies will also hire (and train) you, to help you get your CDL. At least you get some experience before moving on to more "lucrative" opportunities. Though during a much earlier period, and didn't pay as much as it may today, I drove a school bus in Chicago ("perfect" job for dealing with horny single mothers, right? Lol!) for six years, before later being hired in various, better paying driving jobs, now that I had my "chaufeur's" license (the CDL racket didn't exist until '91). Now, I transport various commercial and non-commercial vehicles nationwide for various customers. Just a thought. Hope things work out for you. The videos can wait.
