Dad looks like he smoked a few porches in his day, along with other types of cars.

I had a friendly aquaintance who had a hotted up V8 - and it was a BIG fast engine..... and I mean the Porch has a what 3 liter engine.... And his was a HOT nearly 6 liter engine..... Now he and the Porch driver had a race back through the Black Spur, https://maps.app.goo.gl/oCANVjpuovQsbZT18 and https://maps.app.goo.gl/ruPkfYwkCgouArBAA - You see the Porch is low down and light and fast enough.... and it's more like a Go Kart, so it was way faster around the corners... BUT coming out of the corners, along the straights, and slowing down into the corners, his car way wayyyy faster..... However in a country where the speed limit is largely 100 Kmh max, and the fines are astronomical and they get shitty and crush your cars, the few moments of breat taking road racing, make the issue of anything more than a safe, reliable daily drive at legal speeds, rather moot.....

I wouldn't call a porsche a high performance car, more like a "3rd tier supercar wannabee"

Now if it was a lambo or a rarri , then we have a diff conversation

I had a porch that went right round the house. https://i.pinimg.com/originals..../ad/32/96/ad3296414c

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: how much of what? yard, porch (not totally clear coz its raised) and then house

@Lucifer333: OK some of this is provincial knowledge..... It's probably mid to northern New South Wales Australia, kind of coastal, in the great dividing range . The photograph was taken in mid spring, with wam days and cool nights. By the shadows, it looks to be about 2pm. The house might have been built in true north south alignment, as the left side has roll down screens from the veranda roof, that go down to the hand rails, and the hand rails to near the floor boards, have screening or panelling on them, so the HOT afternoon summer sun can be screened out.... The Camera is out of perfect alignment with the east - west axis of the house, to show off the double doors on the left as an entrance - very clever photographic move... Remember what I said with Australia having a prevailing westerly wind (usually) that blowed over 3000Km of desert etc... Hence the older style house with VERY WIDE verandas, and the high ceilings and high roof to vent out the hot air.... Judging by the season and the trees..... probably around here - https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZX7usETfeR8vd3gW9 Glenn Innes Have a look at and a spin around here.... https://maps.app.goo.gl/P6X8pZ876KVfGWwaA --- https://maps.app.goo.gl/R6dxmG8KAPMXSbRZ9 AND you can tell by the trees, the types, how they have weathered - leaning away from the prevailing strong winds, and the grass types and colour...... Similar to here.... https://www.google.com/maps/pl....ace/Ridgetop+Hideawa Could be out by a bit though on the locaion..... However IF I was to back track through all the pinimage pages and to find the add, it would be interesting in terms of my estimation, to find out exactly where the house is if that is possible.

@Lucifer333: Uggghhhhhh I get the feeling that despite my best efforts, this MOST probably was a real estate add, and I don't know, maybe there could be anything from 100 to 1000 new houses being listed on the site.... every day.....

@Lucifer333: While I'd like to see just how correct my estimation is of the houses location, ummmmmm I am not really wanting to spend days to find the original posting AND it's possible location.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: how much would a house in that area go for these days?

   0    0
Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson

@Lucifer333: Me.... I have NO idea at all...... It's a complex question. The intrinsic value of the house + how much land comes with it + location + distance to utilities and services + how far from town and which town.... + Although only 3 sides of the house are shown, at least 3 sides have no connection to a power pole.... through this could be under ground or on the other side of the house, or there could be a heap of solar panels out of sight on the norhtern part of the roof... Are there dams, water tanks, piped in supply, + what are the roads like, population density in the area + land valuation + land rates + stamp duty and all sort of other things, and what the market will bear.... and how much the JEWS overall, can rip you off by..... Then there is the exchange rate.... and a lot of other things to consider - AND there are the tradeoffs - You might get it cheap - but be paying $350 a week in fuel to go to work.... ALL is not as it seems...

@Lucifer333: I have asked the support at pinterest for information as to where the property is on the website and who put it up.... It might be a liked photo, or there might be links to a real estate agent....

If the people at Pininterest cannot turn up much or I can't find out much... ))))))))))))((((((((((((( Found it by image search: https://www.remodelista.com/po....sts/a-cottage-with-v ----- https://www.sbm21.com/UniqueEs....tates/files/20Octobe -------- The adds are very old but they have some good images in them. AND the house is on the highest point in Byron Bay....... Hmmmmm Expensive. Remember how I said I thought it was around here: Glenn Innes NSW Australia ----- It's only 200 Km away from Byron Bay. NSW Australia

Just by looking at the plants - the trees, the weathering, and the grass etc.. on a coastline of some 3000Km and say 400Km inland.... I was within 200 K... Fuck Eh.... not bad. : )

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: you got some nice houses there, for sure, i would not buy the house, well,.. i mean i would by the property and knock the house down and build something myself, i was raised the first years of my life in a concrete villa and later in a Dutch town house that was build in 1850's or maybe older,... I prefer the concrete villa, we had one wall that was pure glass, personally I am bending over to something like Arrakis Dune imperial castle
