Israel has rejected offers by Hamas to exchange hostages for fuel, even while there are still reportedly more than 200 Israelis being held captive.

Earlier, RT spoke with a former head of the Israeli intelligence unit that deals with hostage situations. He says that the Hamas claims for a prisoner exchange are a form of psychological warfare, while their main goal is a ceasefire.
