Yes, somehow TFM's long running discord server got nuked. This was kind of devastating to me because of the comaradarie, but we got that back with the new platform (which does have multiple rooms).
However, an unbeliable amount of archival data is lost, including precious memories that we made in the server, especially when it comes to our dolls. That's almost sacred in a way, the love between a man and his waifu. We shared a lot of our personal moments there and now all of that is gone forever.

Who needs Discord when we have this site? It's just another spyware app that will betray straight men. They ban waifus. Just another program to eat up your storage space.
I'll be honest, I don't like this new thing very much. It is not mobile friendly and takes a very long time to post a message if a lot of people are in the room. I will still support TFM and occasionally use the service, but a lot of the fun I had in the community is just kinda gone.
This will free me up to do other projects though, like getting to work on my website as I'm doing right now. This is a sign that I may have been spending too much time in there and was not focusing on my priorities.
WTF are Usenet and IRC still a thing, this Orwellian crap is so annoying
