Fuck Aldi Meaty Soup

Yeah it was the deliberately HUGE discrepancy between the amount of eat shown in the spoon on the label AND what was actually INSIDE the can.... Without all the nit picking bullshit of calling boiled up beef bones and meat and shit - beef flavoured water, or BEEF stock, AND the amount of actual VISIBLE meat in the can.... Like 12 grams of meat in a 505 grams of can fill.... Like FUCK OFF..... In Australia we have the MEAT PIE... and if you go through the factory made shit, they are filled with textured vegetable protein, yeast, yeast extract, flavour enhancers, etc., etc., etc., and the ONLY real meat in it, is some old gristle - which is still technically called MEAT... So you really have to learn the word games and read the ingredients and figure out the amounts, OR go cook it your self. Actually I stand corrected on the Heinz similar products: The ingredient list is almost identical. Ingredients Vegetables (43%) (Carrots, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Green Beans, Onion, Spinach), Water, Marinated Beef (9%) [Beef, Marinade (Contains Mineral Salts (450, 451))], Potato Starch, Maize Thickener (1422), Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein, Yeast Extract, Soy Sauce Extract (Wheat), Natural Flavours (Milk), Salt, Natural Colour (160c), Spice, Herb.

And the Campbells gear is almost identical. Vegetables (Potatoes, Carrots, Tomato Puree, Peas), Beef Stock (Water, Beef, Salt), Marinated Beef (10%) (Beef, Water, Salt, Mineral Salt (E451)), Modified Tapioca Starch (E1442), Vegetable Protein Extract (from Maize, Soybean), Potato Starch, Salt, Flavours (Contain Wheat), Mineral Salt (E508), Yeast Extract, Food Colours (Caramel III, Caramel IV), Garlic, Wheat Flour, Malt Extract (From Barley).

I think the idea will now be buy some real meat, a bag of frozen vegetables, and make a fast meal on the gas stove on the spot.... Fuck the canned shit.

Or cook up a huge pot of it and chill it and freeze 500g / 1 Kg portions of REAL soup to take with you. Fuck them.
