Being a little Nihilistic these day's isn't a bad thing. It can be used to your advantage in a Stoic kind of way? Like the Stoic action of Negative Visualization, in other words be prepared for the worst but do NOT dwell on it. I personally am a Glass half Full Guy, or an optimistic pessimist. I find this dampens many of life's bug bares and makes life easier.
