I just read about the website that everyone is donating to, apparently the websit doesn't charge anyone for the charitys, not even skimming off the top from what I can tell.

the thing GoFundMe did wrong is take sides without proof and they folded, which will cause people to abandon and boycott that platform and rightfully so, people need to reward bad behavior of companies that play these bias games with abandonment.

yeah sure they were willing to give the money back in the end, but they were planning to steal that money and send it to where ever they wanted, that tells me they really don't understand their position when it comes to charity, they only came to the conclusion of refunding the donations because a shit load of people were about to go to their banks and make them back pay which would also negatively effect GoFundMe at least 4 times over per donation and GoFundMe would end up paying out the ass with interest to pay everyone back.

and this is why they folded to giving the money back.

but uh yeah, they fucked themselves as shit load of people who donated no longer trust GoFundMe anymore and will probably no longer donate to them for anything anymore.
