France to use AI surveillance during Olympics after EU criticized other countries for similar tools

Artificial Intelligence surveillance cameras will be keeping an eye on visitors to next year's Olympic Games in Paris. And as France embraces the latest hi-tech spyware, Paris’ high court has backed its use, ruling it doesn't infringe on privacy rights.

However, EU regulators have called out other countries in the past who've used similar technologies.
