Former FBI Agent Discusses Suicide Prevention

Paul Bertrand is a retired FBI Agent and former instructor at the FBI National Academy. Paul's experience with the FBI includes suicide intervention training, including how to have a conversation with someone who is struggling while going through the criminal justice process.

In this video, Paul and I discuss tips and insights on suicide intervention and prevention that can help people identify when professional intervention is necessary. While the conversation between Paul and I centers around the emotional and mental health challenges that people under indictment or criminal investigation face, the insights they discuss are universal and can help people struggling to overcome various challenges and trauma.
