Umar رضي الله عنه questioned Al-Harith after discovering that he had sold camels and slaves for two hundred dinars. Al-Harith explained that he had taken money with him and traded with it.

Umar رضي الله عنه responded:

‎أما والله ما بعثناكم لتتجروا في أموال المسلمين!
