Fleeing to the mountains is a bad idea.

I saw it. It will be different for everyone. Some people have rain, others snow, others wild beasts, others scorching heat... keeping dry is not the hardest, good waterproof garments should do the job. Keeping warm when exposed to the elements is not that easy.

@The Man Inside: It's always hard in the beginning of the transition. A prepper knows this.

@hqwebsite: true. Finding food/water is not that hard, for me in this area at least. I've entered hypothermia once before. It's a really fucked up state to be because you'll end up losing your ability to move. If one can't get warm in a timely fashion, the end will come soon.

@hqwebsite: it was not a severe case I suffered, and it took me about three hours to get my body to a temperature I could function again, once I got to where I could get out of the cold and get blankets to start the warning process. In the wild such place doesn't exist. All this assuming doomsday scenario...

I'm ready to learn mate. If 1% of the population can do that... Show us how to do it. I for sure would appreciate some knowledge. This is what I see with my eyes.

There is so much to learn and I'm to Old now to teach hands on - The fire I spoke about above was just for a 5 week or so camp in the high country - If you want to make a go of it for long term it would be best to have at lest 10 people there is a lot to do and everything is 3x harder then you think it will be - First pick a good spot to be a River or lake close by Water is a MUST ! GOOD WATER -With fish in it - The first log type cabin on the upper curve of a river so the run off will be downstream - The cabin the first one will be 4/5 logs high and then dig out the bottom so half is under ground haul rocks from the river to make a fireplace inside mud pack all the cracks the fireplace needs to be 2/3 feet thick ... It would take me Hours to type all the things you need to get done before the fall/winter . I'm sure you can find all you need to know online - Just look for how the west was tamed in the 1700/1800's . Good luck my friend .

@Bagoodman: Well... most individuals don't have other 9 people they can rely on. I can only rely on me, I'm by no means the exception. You can believe when I say, is not 3x harder, is a lot worse. You are talking about a community of people. This is not for that people, is for people who like me, and probably you, will be on their own. If I had a family or a likeminded group of people with me, I wouldn't be showing you nice men the difficulties I'm finding, I would be sharing how great life is... Unfortunately this is my experience, and what many will find if they follow pootube stars, without knowing what they're doing.

@The Man Inside: I understand - This new world of tec and everyone has a phone with 100's of friends but really have no true friends at all - The young people of today don't even realize what a true friend is they never had one - They don't know what they don't have. So sad alone and be able to talk to people all over the world and still be alone . Sad sad sad

@Bagoodman: Just like we are talking now. We could be next door to each other and not know it. The moment the power goes out and food shelves are empty, then you know who you can rely on.

@The Man Inside: I have long thought that the Men of MGTOWtv should get together in a online club take it from ideology to a net work of Men that will help each other with what each man has to offer - If it's a guy that fixes cars then we go to him and so on A club where we can have a conversation with each other - It's Time to get Organized. @Bagoodman: that would be nice. You're just ignoring the fact that almost everyone here is focused on women. How many videos of men working on their cars do you see here? None. Maybe a video on how to install a door/window in your house? Nope. How to replace a leaking pipe on your washing machine... no. Bashing women? Several every day.

@Bagoodman: you try to upload a DYI video on anything, and you're lucky if 15 people view it here. Upload that same video to pootube and you'll get 50 views in the first day. That's how much men here care about dealing with real things that need to be done in real life.
