Flanging - The Origins and Effects - This is really incredible.

For decades.... I have heard these effects on synthesizer tracks and other audio - never knew what they were.

Then you get electric guitar sound effects foot pedals - "Flangers" - Never knew the connection... between what the pedal does and what the sound effect is, and what it developed from... the reel to reel sound tapes.

AND with sound effects consoles... Software driven audio production programs.

Never knew the connection there either.

I only learned about this in the last 24 hours.
