And the Western Union Telegraph copper wire gauging assosciation, and the French Scientific Academy of Sciences - and their pre metric wire sizes... and a gauge size is not a measurement it's a ratio... So super fine hair like copper wire at 0.0028" is a number 14 gauge... Enough... horrible subject. Stick with metric.
