Fear of tsunami prompted Philippines villagers to run straight into deadly mudslide

A huge mudslide that followed Storm Nalgae claimed multiple victims in the Philippines village of Kusiong. They had mistakenly thought a tidal wave was coming and rushed to higher ground, where they were hit by a boulder-laden deluge. At least 18 bodies, including those of children, have been retrieved by rescuers
