the Warrior is a retired Law enforcement Officer and HELL NO, they should not have shot him with anything! Rubber bullets and bean bags that incapacitate an adult can kill a baby or toddler. I do not care why they were there, he was not posing a threat to himself or anyone else. The SWAT team should have used a shield and come towards him from 2 directions to take him down or just backed off until the kids were safer! SWAT teams have become para-military units that make their own decisions. This could have gone terribly wrong. I agree both parents and cops were wrong, but it is better that 1 guilty person go free than to harm 99 innocent people trying to catch him at that moment. -the Warrior

Thanks man for sharing the truth ! I share exactly the same view as you on this subject ! And you as a retired law enforcement officer has enough experience with stuff like that to tell us what's right or wrong in that situation ! Respect ;-)

@Doggk: I'm way more experienced in this topic than 99% of cops in america so let me help you out. No they didn't need to do it. They were scared of him because the cops were frail, weak, fearful, and untrained.

If police shoots you, shoot back. the whole neighborhood should be shooting at the police from their 2nd floor window...

The cops told him to put his hands up. He did, then immediately put his hands down. Gets shot for it. I don't see anything wrong about that. He can still talk to his wife & the cops with both of his hands up. I'd say the problem was the wife for making her husband panicked as well for not shutting her mouths up & dragging her kids along with her to be risked of getting shot.
