in my opinion Israel is annexing Gaza for the oil and gas field in its territorial waters. What better way than to allow Hamas to arm itself under the watchful eye of Mossad, and use the attack to eliminate the Gaza population in retaliation? It's politics, people, and a typical secret services plan.
