Please watch and share this video. This is not just about the EPA and the fine. I go over how I feel about the Later model diesel emissions systems and why I think they are unnecessary. The larger companies pay protection money, aka "campaign contributions", aka bribes, to keep the bureaucracy off their backs. Eventually, that will no longer work, bc they'll simply get greedier. They always do.
From the best of my memory - the trucking industry in Australia said fuck all this diesel particulate clean air shit, and they got rid of it all, and now run (more or less) straight intakes and exhausts with urea injection into the exhaust. The urea gobbles up all the carbon particulates, and the engine flows much more air and puts down lots more power - clean burning and clean running.
