EP009: WAR POWERS & THE CONSTITUTION

Publié le 06 May 2026 / Dans Nouvelles et politique

I break down the truth about the War Powers Act of 1973 and why politicians keep using it to claim a president can’t act without Congress. The Constitution is clear: the president is Commander-in-Chief, responsible for national security and military action, while Congress holds the power to declare - not make- declare war and control funding.

I’m also calling out Hakeem Jeffries for declaring “we’re losing the war” — a line that hands talking points to our enemies and demoralizes the Americans fighting this campaign. In the middle of a real military operation, you don’t sabotage your own side from the sidelines. I’m not letting that kind of defeatist rhetoric stand.
