Ever since a 1000 cops showed up in Melbourne and shot up the population - along with all their other shit, people generally dislike them and reckon quite a few should be strung up for treason.

Their names may have originally come from an epigram written by poet John Byrom. The nursery rhyme has a Roud Folk Song Index number of 19800. The names have since become synonymous in western popular culture slang for any two people whose appearances and actions are identical. (*Or despicable useless fucks who are retarded and a time wasting pain in the arse to deal with).
