Driver strikes pedestrians in Atlanta while fleeing from police

An Atlanta intersection had traffic stopped as multiple vehicles were doing donuts in the middle of the crossing. A Georgia State Patrol officer eventually arrived to break up the scene, sending the spectators running. However, one of the drivers tried to escape the trooper, and hit several people in the process injuring at least one, according to officials. The police took the driver into custody on a felony charge.
