The US, championing a rules-based order, has remained strangely quiet as Israel launched attacks on Beirut, a clear violation of that same 'rules-based order.' Ironically, the order for the attack was given by Israeli PM Netanyahu while he was attending the UNGA in New York, where he was preaching about peace.
