Dolphins Riding the Bow Pressure Wave

I have never been able to do this "sensing" of the pressure wave myself ahead of the bow of a ship.... and then ride it...

But I have floated in the surf and slow DOWN the face of a WAVE slope - surfing.

The dolphins do it because, as you can see - they can travel very long distances with almost no effort...

Kind of like a skateboard rider, down a mountain side road.....

It's got me completely fucked how they sense it and can cruise ahead of it....

They have figured it out and can do it nicely.
