Well, Marcus. I am glad you came to MGTOW and Philosophy. Like Monkey, Turd Flinging Monkey, and myself too, you likely help some boys pick better choices and stopped or prevented some suicides by providing them honest Truth when boys and men needed it... Be glad for that, even if you never meet them. As I say, it's what the Spirit called out of me... but I also started mentioning how I met the Gods in Death. I don't know what I did, but They felt the nedd to send my ass back.. a couple of times. I almost think They invented Isekai anime just for me... Lol! [Though I heard from some survivor NDE kids that The Gods don't like anime.] I can see why... they draw dragons and witches too sexily. LOL!
The Academy was great... But, the Letters "program" ie "Philosophy" was the Come back from "New Education" in the Medieval Ages. It was the New "New Education" to the "New Education," ie Letters. It was considered a proper education centering on the "humanitus." This New Education was just before the Time of the American Colonization during the Age of Exploration. In fact, I believe it created the Age of Exploration. So, we Americans were originally in its umbrella... Socrates? He was Grand Master Philopher bro... replaced by his protege Aristotle, who bitched about how they killed Socrates. They enslaved him. A friend bought him settling him free, and then Aristotle, Plato's protege, was like fuck this shit I am going to train Alexander... He's going to conquer the world uniting East and West. So, you familiar with the [Greek] Liberal Arts then? I take it.
Did you join the Scrabble NatC's philosopher gang er club? At my university, the philosophy department including grad students were avid Scrabble players to the point of arguing over Scrabble's rule book and accepted dictionary... it's like yeah philosophers arguing? Really? Lol!
Well, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria I do believe as well both had a Master in Letters, Philosophy, and what did their philosophy degrees produce? An officer core for the Empire. I say an excellent degree for government service.
We do need better bioethics and perhaps tech philosophy too. I can tell you for damn sure, Biotechnology definitely needs a better bioethics framework... Yeah, I loved watching the "youth" shiver every time by Calculus professor start doing proofs and say "We going to prove it." It was fun... Yeah, me too. I knew most of my Chemistry/Biochemistry and the Classics/Letters Department all of them. I liked the Art as Social History courses: I have that School of Athens print too.
