unfortunately they will likely end up finding out the hard way, but maybe you can remind them people become lazy and complacent when they don't think something might happen, but they should prepare anyway regardless. it just reminds me of the behavior of men when it comes to never learning from their relationships, they are doomed to repeat the same process over and over without fail because they are addicted to that love and acceptance, but i suppose in this case it's they have become too comfortable and complacent and won't likely be prepared for what's to come.

i mean i grew up in the Mormon church, and though i'm no longer a active member, i do agree with some of what the church had to offer when it came to always being prepared and trying to urge their members into this mentality, i liked that aspect, people would make fun of them when they would keep food storage and then the plandemec happened and a shit load of people were caught off guard and were stumbling to get the stuff they needed because they didn't prepare for a possible situation. and i feel the same way for war or other disasters, people need to prepare for shit hitting the fan, now more than ever before in history if you ask me.

i mean say what you will about the Mormons, but they know their shit when it comes down to being prepared.
