"Emotional Intelligence" Simply means that she know or is aware of her feelings. Or she's aware of what she's feeling. From a literal stand point. It is a term the less intelligent created to make themselves sound more intelligent. But personally, i care more about cerebral intelligence than emotional intelligence.
