I don't have much to praise MODERN women for, but women have played their part in the past. One of my favorite people (Yes a women), was a lady few have probably heard of? She is probably most famous for the series theme for "DR WHO". although written by Ron Grainer, this lady named DELIA DERBYSHIRE, constructed a track that could be mistaken for being played on a Synth, However back in the early 60's there was no such thing in existence. Robert Moog was playing around with electronics, but the BBC Radiophonic workshop used analogue tin pan's piano wire ans such and synced tape machines. Delia was the queen of doing this stuff, so here is a short Doc about her, she even has a name for her work - The Delian Mode. Enjoy. By the SHE was NOT a feminist, had she been she would not have been on my radar as a musician myself?

Truly sounds like a pioneer. Being detail oriented? Yeah, that's your classic woman. Lol!
