Coupling a Trailer To a Tractor

Fuck these trucks are incredible......

Just think 200 years ago, men had to load and unload bullock drays and canal boats and paddle steamers and sailing ships, by carrying big sacks of wheat on their backs..... Then came the trains etc..

AND now it's ONE man, ONE truck, and I dunno 40 tons of load... at say 60 MPH

Waaaaaaaaaa I had an aquaintance many years ago... and he told us about how car and truck brakes OPERATE differently.... like if you just touch the car brakes (hydraulic) they come on immediatly... but if you press truck brakes, it takes time for air to get into them and activate them.....AND if you press the brake pedal a little bit - not much happens for a little while... and so if your inexperienced and press the brake pedal hard, he said the brakes come on, with the slight delay, and when they come on - they come on SO hard - that you go through the wind screen... LOL

Ahhhhh the joys of learning.

It's like truck racing - the BIG trucks like yours - when they HOT them up for racing - they are SO fast around the track, they are faster than the racing (sedan) cars... A lot faster.... but the issue arose that all the barriers and Armco rails and earth works designed to stop 1 ton cars, don't work very well if at all, for 13 ton trucks...

AND full on truck racing was great to watch.....

Then after figuring out that trucks can spear off the track and into the crowds... instead of moving the crowds away from the corners etc., where they are highly likely to get run over and into the safer areas, they decided to speed limit the trucks to I think 130 Kmh.. and then it just totally fucked "the racing"..... and it became like fat bitches racing for the closest car park at a supermarket...

Fucking LAME.
