County demolishes mans BBQ Gazebo due to neighbors complaints - Then this happened

It's a structure used by people, it has to be made, well enough to not fall over onto them and kill them... that's how that regulation works.

You know 4 or 5 people under it - strong gust of wind and over it goes.. One dead, three injured.. This goes back to the earliest recorded history.... If the builders build badly and if falls on one of the kids, and they get killed, then your entitled to kill the builder / one of the builders kids... The issues of products, warranties and liability is not just consumer law in the modern age.

It's pretty sucky.... and BBQ fires smell good.... real good. Not much of a fire is required to keep a BBQ plate hot.... It's not like a giant tyre dump on fire.
