I wrote this piece about two decades ago but it's still one of my favorites of mine.

I fear not death for awareness of Death is to allow myself to live without FEAR. Having Died 2 minutes into my arrival here and being placed in an Oxygen Tent in 1955 was my first NDE, and their have been plenty thrown at me since yet I'm still hear. Yet one day I will meet for a drink with my old friend DEATH and welcome him.
