after hearing this, i took into account that i might not have heard the real song, so i looked it up and realized i hate the OG version, it's tough to explain, but the OG song felt disconnected and the sound of it was there but hard to like because of the disconnection.

this AI version comes off with a roughly 2000s style of rock that made it connect better with the overall rhythm of the OG song, but it felt connected and pure even though it's totally AI.

sometimes these AI versions just do a better job in making the song feel right.
