Amazing video showing the U.S. Coast Guard's rescue of a mariner in distress approximately 6 miles west of the Columbia River mouth on Friday, February 3, 2023.

I have no idea who the pilot is on this mission yet I'm sure this crew knows my sisters youngest child as she is a pilot through this outfit stationed here. :) She called a few years ago out on a mountain climber mission with the Olympic National Forest, apparently he had slipped & broken a leg. I spoke to all the crew members to during that ~20 minute call. She was co-pilot @ the time, she graduated soon after & was featured as pilot on a Discovery II Channel episode out on a capsized ship mission with the TV show crew on board. :)
