Cloud Surfing

Yes scientists have reliably predicted that some time in the next 200 years, the sun will shine at least once, and there will be a good bit of rain falling sometime, somewhere, as well. The future looks better than ever.

No actually if you tune into regular satellite images - where a picture is taken every 10 minutes for 4 hours and it's converted into a short video, with the new frame in and the old frame out... Well the average speed of clouds is around 120 Kmh - and at ground level the wind can vary from ) Kmh to 350 Kmh at the south pole.... ---- AND as far as the upper atmosphere goes, it can be viturally stationary to VERY fast..... BUT typically if it's say 3300 Km from Port Headland in Western Australia, to Melbourne in Victoria ( look them up on Google Earth or Google Maps ) ( from NW to SE at about 40* ) from some nasty old cyclone running out of puff when it hits land, well all them billions and trillions of tons of rail water, will cross the continent in about 24 hours.... Sometimes the storm can be travelling a lot faster... but you know... There is a lot going in all directions, at all altitudes, at all kinds of speeds..... temperatures ... http://satview.bom.gov.au/ - there is all sorts of things going on, in all sorts of filters and zoom and everything...
