After looking about Christianity, it got dissolved via Protestantism, Schisms, and other self-serving nonsense, into an abject mess.
Father was Catholic, baptized me as such (thanks, I guess, even though I had no choice in the matter). The guy was a morbidly obese abusive drug-addled alcoholic. Did not even remotely practice any of his attachment to Christianity and attending church, or anything revolving around that, as nothing more than performative BS. Two daughters that became abject whores, one having multiple children out of wedlock, another having abortions, and a son who all but given up on life until he joined the military. Heh, the military saved my life in that case.
Either way, from what I've read, Catholicism reminds me of the military, a Machiavellian pursuit to have a better living arrangement and power. Meanwhile Protestants are about bypassing a ranking system and being more a Capitalist pursuit of money and power. One has a top-down rank structure that hardly works, while the other is a litany of snake oil salesmen-I mean persons (the degenerate bullshit they're allowing is horrendous and completely undermines the religion) trying to completely, and ironically, contradict everything Martin Luther was going on about (that got abolished in the 1500's).
