Chinese Yangtze River dam and flood consequences .

I have have a friend who is a very smart concrete engineer / teacher / professor / PHD type, and he has toured China looking at "enough" concrete things - grey coloured mud, made into 10 story apartment complexes etc., and he has a lot of material on the construction of the 3 Gorges Dam and well as sharing reports on the "issues" in it's construction.... I have posted one of the videos on here.... and others have too... AND yeah... I think the shifting issue is faked out and over blown, but the structural issues in the underlying earth, and the shitty cost cutting in the concrete and the lack of specifications... Well............. I am fine with living upstream of the dam, at higher elevations... Anywhere else... Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: You better be upstream or at least 3000 feet above that fucking dam if you live downtream in the path of the Yangtze river !

@sithsith: Well it all depends on how full the dam is and the season and the mode of failure..... It's how we define the words, "BAD" + "Flooding". Full Dam, Full on MONSOON with HUGE amounts of Rain and a 100 meter wide by 20 or 30 meter deep tunnel, through the earth, under the dam wall, and I dunno.... How long would that run for? And how much bigger would the hole get and how long before big bits of the dam wall fell over.... I mean the speculation could be endless.......
