Can US attack on Iran trigger Tehran to get nukes for guaranteeing its safety?

The former director of the US Counterterrorism Center says the American attack on Iran may have unintended consequences, as Tehran could now see obtaining nuclear weapons as its only option for guaranteeing its safety in the face of Washington's aggression.

Even as nuclear fears are increasing over the US-Israeli war on Iran, Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service has reported several European countries are discussing the development of their own atomic arsenals.
