The problem is, you're making his point... Im not black either, but I will admit most non-black Americans suffer from the 'Blind-spot' hes talking about. America is stolen land. White people came here and pretty much did to the native population what the Jews did to the palestineans. Stolen land is nothing to be proud of. Im not saying it isnt okay to be a proud american.. be proud. But that pride should only go so far. @bigintol03: 'Right of conquest" So, that means someone(s) with more guns than you can burst into your home, kick you out of it, make it their home base and take what you worked for. Thats right of conquest, buddy. But im sure your next move would be to call the cops as a crime was commited onto you. You see, America is founded on multiple criminal offenses. And its of no coincidence that the same people who comitted all those crimes were as big on policing as their descendants are today. Its not just the Indians who got fucked here. Again, this is of the blind spots Bryan is talking about. A person cant just commit a bunch of crimes and think that because they've avoided capture and a lot of time has passed, everythings fucking fine and dandy. Thats NOT how justice works. Especially the Amrican criminal justice system. There is no statute of limitations. I shouldnt have to explain this to an American... You guys put a lot of pressure on the American justice system to capture people who hurt you. And if you die before the person was captured, you can die knowing this person is still being persued by the authorities. The fact that so many white/majority Americans think everything is okay because a shit ton of time has passed.... is a 'blind spot' steeped in privledge, and is criminal as fuck. Oddly enough, the Spainards tried to operate in the same manner... That was untill the Islamic Conquest showed up and beheaded over 7 million of them. And that was back when the earth wasnt as populated as it is today. Just imagine what that would look like if it happend today. And remember, in the last 3 months, islam has grown substancially. Im the only person on here sounding the alarm and no one is listening. Maybe thats a good thing too tho. lol.

@Eggy Noggy: When I said "Right of conquest" I didn't mean last Wednesday, I'm speaking of hundreds of years ago! The people who committed those crimes are LONG dead! You and I aren't responsible for anything our ancestors did, to think otherwise is absurd! Anyhow, how are we in present times supposed to make amends for "sins of the past"?

@bigintol03: I think you may be missing the point a bit. We are most certainly benifitting from what the ancestors of this land did back then. If the invaders were black, im sure blacks in america would have it easier and be the majority. America hasnt been around very long. "Time passed" is used as an excuse to validate what happened in the past. Just being able to flippantly say that shit is white privledge of the highest order. I mean, not even the Germans living in Germany talk about the holocaust like this. And they're even paying reparations to Jews since the 50s. And they still refuse to talk about the holocaust as flippant as Americans do the wost of their history. Oh sure, there are certainly some germans who see things the other way. But when you enter germany, you see the apologies. And thats okay. Because at the end of the day, Germany has the highest GPD of all the E.U. I highly encourage you to visit Germany.
