the only problem with your work analogy is; in marriage and dating, women loses value as she ages, and men increase in value and resources as he ages. This flipping and reversing of value and positions phenomenon doesn't happen in the work analogy as it does with human relationships.

What we do know is that men and women are not equal. The rating systems for men and women are also not the same. A man who's an 8 is better than a woman who's a 10.
