It makes so much sense. She was raised by her father, and that is I think a huge part of the reason for her being able to do what she is doing.

He taught her principles to which to put values in. In the audio book called how to not give a fuck, it goes into how people decides on whether they achieve happiness or not depending on which metric system they use. Therefore I noticed that perhaps her metric system’s foundation does contain properties of what her father taught her.

Remember she specifically said that she is doing this because it makes her feel good. So we can see her decision is based on emotion, however I think the metric system that fathers are supposed to help develop for their daughters is supposed to help guide those emotions towards a much better and constructive path.

So it makes so much sense why she found the courage to do what she did. However understand she is only doing this because it makes her feel good, but I give her credit since she is actually doing something. And most importantly her father.
